Isabella “Izzy” Church is a self-empowered entertainer dedicated to creating entertaining and educational content for a wide audience. She has been recognized as an entertainer, author and artist. Izzy studied acting with Maggie Flanigan, Shakespeare from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with Shane-Ann Younts, Improv with Upright Citizen Brigade and IN Studios, film production at School of Visual Arts, and graduated Suma Cum Laude from Mary Mount Manhattan College with a degree in Communication Arts, specializing in writing for film and television. Furthermore, Izzy had a short, but pathbreaking stint with Dream Works in the books to film department. Her time spent at Dream Works inspired her to work towards adapting her novel, Angry Movie Guy, for the screen. Currently, I'm collaborating with a couple of film-producers on several film projects including Angry Movie Guy and another rom-com I wrote titled, Letters to Ganesha.
Often I split my time between auditioning and writing. In my most recent film project, An Accidental Zombie Named Ted, I played a quirky psychiatrist that relentlessly works to sabotage her sister who she holds a personal grudge against. My most recent Equity stage production, Astonishing Adventures of All American Girl & The Scarlet Skunk, I played Hyena, a villain who is out to destroy All American Girls hopes and dreams of building a better world.
